The Indianapolis Colts are two days into their training camp practices, and second-year pro Chester Rogers is already making an impression. The biggest impression is that he is operating as the team’s third receiver. TY Hilton and Donte Moncrief, of course, lead the group.
As a rookie in 2016, Rogers was primarily the team’s punt returner, averaging 9.2 yards per return on 13 returns. He then began seeing more action as the team’s third and fourth receiver as the team dealt with injuries at the receiver position. Once given those opportunities, he excelled at that as well.
