Tight end is normally a top-heavy position, but there is some depth this year. If you're unsure of who to start this week, check out my rankings. Spoiler alert: you should probably play Jimmy Graham. I list the top 15, because those are the only ones who are usually worth starting.

Other Rankings: QB, RB, WR, TE, DEF
Rank & Player | Opponent | Notes |
1. Jimmy Graham, NO | TB | He'll be the top TE the majority of the season. |
2. Julius Thomas, DEN | ARI | Thomas is always a high-end start. |
3. Rob Gronkowski, NE | CIN | If Gronk is healthy, Gronk is starting for you. |
4. Greg Olsen, CAR | CHI | Olsen is one of the few reliable targets in Carolina. |
5. Martellus Bennett, CHI | @CAR | Bennett has played really well so far this season. |
6. Delanie Walker, TEN | CLE | Walker is one of the few Titans who is performing well. |
7. Larry Donnell, NYG | ATL | If you didn't start Donnell last week, don't feel bad. Donnell didn't even start himself. |
8. Zach Ertz, PHI | STL | He's looked good so far. This could be his breakout season. |
9. Travis Kelce, KC | SF | Kelce has been great so far and is worth starting. |
10. Jordan Cameron, CLE | @TEN | You can play Cameron, but he's not a high-end starter. |
11. Heath Miller, PIT | @JAC | Big Ben loves Miller. |
12. Vernon Davis, SF | KC | Davis' spot will be determined by how healthy he is. If you own him, be cautious. |
13. Jason Witten, DAL | HOU | He's had a slow start, but don't bail on him just yet. |
14. Owen Daniels, | @IND | Daniels will be needed to step up with Pitta out. |
15. Antonio Gates, SD | NYJ | Gates has had some nice performances and some not-so nice ones. You could do worse than Gates each week though. |
