'When I had to face him, it was at a moment that he was unstoppable': Mikel Arteta recalls how 'superior' Thierry Henry made Everton squad look like 'youth players'

Mikel Arteta has revealed how an 'unstoppable' Thierry Henry was able to make some of Everton's stars look like youth players when the striker was at his peak.

The current Gunners boss came up against the Frenchman while he was playing for the Merseyside club before moving to the Emirates in 2011.

The Spaniard also briefly played alongside the forward when he returned to the club for a loan spell from New York Red Bells in the same year and then faced him again in a friendly three years later.
