Republic of Ireland assistant manager Roy Keane has launched an attack on Everton as the James McCarthy saga rumbles on.
McCarthy has withdrawn from the Ireland squad for Saturday's World Cup qualifier with Austria in Vienna due to a hamstring injury.
That followed a furious exchange of words between his club boss Ronald Koeman and international manager Martin O'Neill.
Koeman was furious with Ireland's use of the midfielder last month, accusing O'Neill of 'overloading' McCarthy by playing in him in two successive World Cup qualifiers despite a lack of match fitness.
