Speculation concerning Everton's vacant managerial position continues in Tuesday's newspapers.

The Daily Mirror is one of a number of publications reporting that Toffees majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri has spoken to Sam Allardyce about the former Bolton Wanderers and Blackburn Rovers boss potentially taking the Goodison Park reins.

In the Daily Star it is claimed Allardyce will be appointed to the post on a deal until the end of the season, with former Leicester City boss Craig Shakespeare as assistant.
