Tuesday’s Liverpool Echo profiles the career of Watford boss Marco Silva, with the national newspapers reporting the Portuguese is Everton’s “number one choice" to take over as manager.

The Daily Mail and the Daily Mirror both claim the Blues have had an approach for 40-year-old Silva rejected by the Hornets.

Striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin also features in the Mail saying Everton need to build on their dramatic 3-2 win against Watford prior to the international break when Premier League action resumes at Crystal Palace on Saturday.
