Werder Bremen not interested in selling Thomas Delaney to Everton

Werder Bremen sporting director Frank Baumann has told Bild the club are not interested in selling midfielder Thomas Delaney, who joins them in January, to Everton.

Denmark international Delaney, 25, signed for the Bundesliga outfit from Copenhagen in August but spent the first half of the season with his former club.

He was linked with Everton in the summer, but the Merseysiders did not make a move and he joined Bremen instead.

But the Liverpool Echo reported that Everton boss Ronald Koeman "remains keen" on Delaney and said the Toffees could make a £5 million bid for a player who reportedly cost Bremen £1.
