Wembley Stadium turned royal blue for Everton on Friday 19 May in celebration of the 10-year anniversary of the famous stadium’s reopening.
The national stadium lit up its iconic arch in the colours of every football team which has played at the ground since it was revamped a decade ago.
‘For Everton’ was displayed across part of the stadium in front of the famous Olympic Way, to celebrate the Toffees’ four FA Cup games at the venue since 2007 – including the competition’s final against Chelsea in 2009.
In the past ten years, Evertonians have also been able to experience three semi-finals in the capital, facing Manchester United in both 2009 and 2016, as well as rivals Liverpool in 2012.
