Manchester City boss Gareth Taylor watched his players lift the FA Cup — delayed due to coronarivus — for the third time in four years and immediately started to dream of what comes next.
'We want to challenge the players to do something that will probably never happen again and win the FA Cup twice in one season,' he said.
'I was pretty confident going into extra-time. We continued playing our way, kept knocking on the door and eventually it opened.'
Everton counterpart Willie Kirk said: 'We'll be back. The club will be proud of that performance.
