It could have been a lot worse for Everton boss Ronald Koeman as a late Wayne Rooney penalty earned the Toffees a draw away to Brighton.
The Seagulls had led with just eight minutes remaining of normal time when Anthony Knockaert turned in past Jordan Pickford.
However, Brighton defender Bruno was guilty of conceding an 88th minute penalty after fouling Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the box and Rooney duly capitalised.
Despite the point it was another slog as Everton continued to struggle on the pitch and fans voiced their displeasure with the team and Koeman.
