Everton Ladies captain Dan Turner has called on her side to use Sunday’s defeat to Arsenal in the semi-final of the SSE Women’s FA Cup as incentive in their upcoming game against Chelsea (Wednesday 18 April, 7pm kick-off) and for the rest of the season.
The Blue Girls conceded in the final moments of Sunday’s tie to just miss out on a trip to Wembley in their first professional season in the WSL1 and although hurt from the outcome, Turner has insisted that the Toffees bounce back and find the positives from the game before their league game against the WSL1 table-toppers.
