Chelsea manager Frank Lampard said that Chirstian Pulisic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek played in a behind closed doors match as they aim to regain fitness as they deal with an injury crisis.
The two attacking midfielders are part of a large list of untimely injured Chelsea players as the business end of the Premier League season nears. Pulisic, who joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund last year, has been out since January with a abductor muscle problem.
Meanwhile, Loftus-Cheek has suffered a long-term Achilles injury but Lampard provided a positive update on the two ahead of their match with Everton on Sunday.
