Toffees boss Ronald Koeman has declared his interest in bringing the Manchester United and England record goalscorer back to Goodison Park.
Rooney, who came through the Everton academy before moving to Old Trafford in 2004, is out-of-favour under Jose Mourinho and is set to move on this summer.
