Wayne Rooney is to conduct the draw for the European Under 17 Championships at St George's Park on Thursday.
England's record scorer and most capped outfield player will draw the teams for the group stages of the finals which are being held in this country for the first time from May 4-20.
The Everton striker first came to prominence at the 2002 staging of the tournament in Denmark when he was voted the Golden Player as England finished third.
Rooney said: 'I am extremely proud to become a UEFA tournament ambassador for U17 Euro.
