Tim Cahill is still going strong at the age of 36 and marked his long-awaited A-League debut in sensational style on Saturday.
The Australian star has been away from his homeland since moving to Millwall as a youngster in 1997.
He went on to enjoy a successful spell in the Premier League with Everton and has played in America and China in recent years.
Cahill is now back home having signed for Melbourne City, sister club of Manchester City, in the summer.
And he made a stunning start to his Melbourne career on Saturday night - scoring a debut 40-yard volley in a derby clash against bitter rivals Melbourne Victory.
