Salomon Rondon has mutually agreed to terminate his contract with Everton.
The Venezuela international, who has scored a credible seven goals in 12 games for his country this year, has struggled to get a run of games under manager Frank Lampard and fell further down the pecking order following the arrival of Neal Maupay from Brighton in the summer.
Everton are working under financial restrictions and need to offload players ahead of any potential new arrivals in January.
Lampard has underlined a desire to strengthen his attack with Dominic Calvert-Lewin dogged by injuries over the past year.
