Paul Tait’s Everton Under-18s have been drawn against West Bromwich Albion, Arsenal and Fulham in the group stage of the 2018/19 Premier League Cup.
The draw is mirrored for the Under-16 tournament and they will therefore take on the same opponents.
Both competitions feature six groups of four teams, with clubs playing each other once in the group stage.
The six group winners and two best runners-up - decided by total points, then goal difference, followed by head-to-head record - will advance to the quarter-finals.
Knockout ties are all one-off matches to be decided by extra-time and then penalties if the scores are level after 90 minutes.
