Everton moved out of the relegation zone after a late Amadou Onana header cancelled out Jordan Ayew's opener for Crystal Palace in a 1-1 draw.
It was a big day for the visitors who announced that Roy Hodgson would be leaving the club, before revealing that former Eintracht Frankfurt boss Oliver Glasner would replace the 76-year-old.
Glasner was shown on television during the game and looked pleased with their goal, but Everton's equaliser means he joins a side just five points clear of the relegation zone.
It is a big week for Everton who will discover the fate of their 10-point deduction appeal.
