Maarten Stekelenburg feels his lone season at Southampton helped to get his career back on track.
The 34-year-old, who arrived at Everton from the Saints in the summer, has impressed between the sticks on Merseyside so much that he has earned his first Netherlands caps in over four years.

"The players have been great for me here," he said. "My family, my kids, everything is okay and I’m settling in quite well.
