Marco Silva believes a victory over Leicester City at Goodison Park on New Year’s Day can give his Everton side an injection of confidence and spark a positive run of results.
The Blues head into the game knowing a win will see them rise to seventh in the Premier League table.
Silva’s side were edged out 1-0 by Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday, despite carving out several chances and being denied by the woodwork twice.
The manager has now called on his team to display the resolve shown at Burnley on Boxing Day when Everton hit back from a defeat to Tottenham Hotspur to sweep aside the Clarets 5-1.
