Sean Dyche has insisted that he does not feel let down by Everton's board after the club failed to make any signings on deadline day.

Dyche was appointed as Everton's new manager on Monday, and the Premier League strugglers were expected to aid him by strengthening their squad on the final day of the transfer window.

Yet the Toffees failed to get anyone through the door, leaving Dyche to work with the same group of players that Frank Lampard had. But Dyche has refused to blame Everton's hierarchy for the lack of signings, and has claimed that they did everything possible to bring in new players.
