Seamus Coleman has given his Everton team-mates a shot in the arm on the eve of the new Premier League season by stepping up his rehabilitation at the club's Finch Farm training ground.
Coleman suffered a horrific double leg fracture on international duty with the Republic of Ireland last March in the 0-0 draw against Wales, but the right-back is expected to make a full recovery.
The 28-year-old is on track to return to action by the end of the year, and images of him showing no ill effects as he was put through his own individual program will come as a boost to everyone connected with the club and his country.
