Morgan Schneiderlin says there were “no hiding places or excuses” after Everton succumbed to a 3-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
After an even opening to the contest, Harry Kane’s intended cross opened the scoring before Christian Eriksen doubled the visitors’ advantage three minutes before the interval.
Kane then added his second of the afternoon within a minute of the restart to effectively put Spurs out of sight.
And while midfielder Schneiderlin says the Blues won’t get too down about only their second home defeat of the calendar year, he says lessons must be learned quickly with such a busy schedule on the horizon.
