Morgan Schneiderlin has recovered from a thigh injury in time to be available for Everton’s final home game of the 2016/17 season against Watford.
But goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg has been ruled out of the Friday’s clash after sustaining a groin problem.
“It is a long list of players who are not available,” said Ronald Koeman at his pre-match press conference at USM Finch Farm. “Stekelenburg is not fit because he has a groin problem, but Morgan is fit.”
Koeman will also be without Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Jonjoe Kenny, Ademola Lookman, Kieran Dowell and Callum Connolly after the Blues quintet were called up for England Under-20s’ World Cup finals campaign.
