Sandro A Doubt For Hajduk

Ronald Koeman says he will wait until the morning of the match before making a final call on Sandro Ramirez’s fitness for Everton’s Europa League play-off first-leg clash with Hajduk Split.

The Blues’ new Spanish attacker played 77 minutes of the opening Premier League day victory over Stoke before being replaced by Kevin Mirallas after receiving a blow to his heel.

Sandro is touch-and-go to recover in time to line up against the Croats, who Koeman says hold no “secrets” from his team.

“We know a lot about them,” said Koeman. “Erwin (Koeman’s assistant and brother) watched their game away to Dinamo Zagreb (which Hajduk lost 3-1 on 6 August).
