Sam Allardyce defended his style of play in the wake of fresh criticism from Everton supporters despite the Toffees' 1-0 win over Newcastle on Monday night.
A banner unfurled in the Gwladys Street End at Goodison Park read, 'our survey says... get out of our club', citing the club's controversial online questionnaire gathering thoughts on Allardyce as a manager.
But after Theo Walcott's goal saw Everton rise to eighth in the Premier League, Allardyce came out on the defensive in his post-match interview and suggested it was opponents Newcastle who deployed 'negative' tactics.
