Since his first season in Spain in 2009/10, when he netted 33 goals in 35 matches, Ronaldo has scored at least 50 goals in all competitions for Real Madrid in the past six campaigns.
The Portuguese superstar recently scored his 400th goal for the club, but looks unlikely to reach 50 clubs clubs in 2016/17, though he is firing his team to the LaLiga title and another Champions League final.
Messi, meanwhile, is already on 50 for the current campaign – the fifth occasion he has reached a half century in one season for Barcelona.
