Ronald Koeman and his Everton players have been doing their bit to share the spirit of Christmas with the club's fans.
Staff from across the club made 100 phone calls to older supporters, with manager Koeman, captain Phil Jagielka and ex-players Ian Snodin and Graham Stuart among those taking part.
Koeman picked up the phone to call 90 year-old Peter and the pair discussed the Dutchman's first six months at the helm at Goodison Park as well as how Peter celebrated his recent milestone birthday.
Skipper Jagielka made two festive phone calls to participants from an Everton community programme, which aims to tackle social isolation among individuals aged 75 and over by allowing them the opportunity to engage with others in their local area.
