Romelu Lukaku thanked Ross Barkley for providing him with the ammunition to fire Everton to a record-equalling seventh straight home Premier League win.
The Belgian scored a double in the 4-2 victory against Leicester City on Sunday, with his first goal arriving after a fabulous right-wing cross from Barkley.
Lukaku was perfectly-placed to head in the midfielder’s centre - and he followed this up with another close-range finish in the second half, which was his 23rd league goal of the season for Everton.
“We’ve played together many times and in the new position he [Barkley] is playing, he has got more freedom and can create more,” Lukaku said.
