Relegation-threatened Everton lack creativity and there's a sense of resignation around the ground after Sean Dyche's side lost to Fulham

It was the timid response after their side went 2-1 down that was the most worrying sign of all. Everton fans have been here before but there was little left in the tank this time to spur their team on.

On the pitch there was a lack of creativity and, crucially, no quality in front of goal. But there was also a sense of resignation around Goodison Park as supporters streamed out when Daniel James doubled Fulham’s advantage, even with 22 minutes remaining.

By the time Anthony Taylor blew the full-time whistle, boos echoed from those still left inside.
