Real Madrid 'considering move for Carlo Ancelotti', with the Everton manager a candidate to return to the Bernabeu if Zinedine Zidane decides to walk away at the end of the season

Real Madrid are reportedly weighing up the option whether to swoop for Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti should Zinedine Zidane decide to walk away in the summer.

Revealed by Sportsmail last week, regardless of whether Real Madrid win LaLiga this season or not Zidane is ready to depart the Bernabeu after the final game of the season against Villarreal on May 23.

The Frenchman feels he no longer has the backing of president Florentino Perez, even if he becomes the first Madrid manager since 1989 to win back-to-back league titles with the club.
