Everton defender Ramiro Funes Mori took the first steps on a long road to recovery on Tuesday morning, following his season-ending injury.
The Argentine defender tore cartilage in his knee while on international duty last week.
And he underwent surgery on Friday as he battles to get back to fitness.
Funes Mori posted a picture to Instagram from his hospital bed on Tuesday morning, giving a thumbs up to fans and looking optimistic.
