The Premier League have postponed their adjudication on Everton's deal for stadium naming rights, funded by Alisher Usmanov, until June 30.
Sportsmail revealed in January that the Premier League were investigating the extraordinary deal in which Usmanov's holding company, USM, will pay £30million for the option to buy naming rights for a ground that will not open until 2023 at the earliest on a site where building work has yet to begin.
Everton are understood to have submitted all the paperwork relating to the agreement to the Premier League last month, along with their year-end accounts but must wait until the end of June to discover if the deal will be approved.
