Liverpool sealed a 2-0 victory over Everton in the Merseyside derby at Anfield on Sunday

LIVERPOOL (4-3-3)

Alisson Becker – One miscued punch apart, dealt with whatever came his way with the minimum of fuss – 7

Trent Alexander-Arnold – Unusually out of sorts and booked for a wild challenge on Gordon in the second half – 6

Joel Matip – Can consider himself fortunate that VAR did not get involved when he pushed Gordon in the back, otherwise accomplished – 7

Virgil van Dijk – Didn’t have much to do as Everton’s threat through the middle was minimal; a nuisance at set plays – 7

Andrew Robertson – The embodiment of industry, he won’t forget his first goal in front of The Kop in a hurry – 8.
