Maarten Stekelenburg talks about his journey to Everton in Friday night’s issue of the matchday programme.
The Dutchman arrived from Fulham over the summer and has slotted in as the Blues’ number one under Ronald Koeman.
It is the third time Stekelenburg has worked under his countryman, with prior spells at Ajax Amsterdam and then Southampton.
The 34-year-old glovesman has had stints in Italy and France between those clubs and he tells the matchday programme of some of the challenges he faced away from Holland.
