Phil Jones reveals City, Chelsea, Liverpool or Arsenal were options before signing for Man United

Phil Jones has admitted he had 'a host' of clubs interested in him before he decided to join Manchester United.

Jones joined United in 2011 from Blackburn Rovers on a deal that was reported to be around £16.5million. However, it could have been very different for Jones who said Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Everton were all interested in signing him at the time.

Jones said he was determined to sign for United after just one conversation with manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
