'Our fans will not make something negative out of it': Jurgen Klopp is confident Liverpool supporters WILL behave well if his side are crowned Premier League champions amid fears they will turn up at stadiums en masse

Jurgen Klopp has backed Liverpool's fans to behave sensibly around the games that could see his team crowned champions and says there won't be a negative story.

Liverpool are in full training ahead of the imminent return of the Premier League and only need six points to win their first title since 1990. The discussions, though, have centred around whether supporters will turn up en masse outside stadiums and break social distancing rules.

The first fixture back is scheduled to be the Merseyside Derby and Everton are confident it will be staged at Goodison Park, after asking Liverpool City Council to convene their Safety Advisory Group; a meeting is likely to be held next week.
