Ramiro Funes Mori, Bryan Oviedo and Enner Valencia all got 90 minutes of action for their respective nations on Tuesday night.
There were mixed fortunes for the trio as the 2018 World Cup qualifiers continued across the Atlantic Ocean.
Oviedo was the only one of the three to taste victory, with Costa Rica enjoying a 3-1 home win over Panama.
The result ensured they topped Group B in the CONCACAF stage, meaning they now advance to the next stage in that region which is a six-nation league where the sides who finish in the top three places make it through to the tournament finals in Russia.
