Kevin Mirallas praised Swansea City’s defensive resilience but acknowledged Everton paid the price for not displaying enough quality in the final third at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.
The Blues were edged out by the solitary goal, scored in the first half through Spanish international Fernando Llorente.
Everton had eight shots over the 90 minutes but only two of those were on target.
Mirallas said: “It was a big game for Swansea and it’s never easy to play against a team that are fighting to avoid going down to the Championship. It was only 1-0 and we had some chances but we didn’t score.
