Mina Starts For Strong Everton In Gor Mahia Clash

Yerry Mina will make his first start for Everton in Tuesday night's game against Gor Mahia, with manager Marco Silva naming a team laced with internationals for the SportPesa Trophy contest.

Colombia international centre-back Mina came off the bench for the closing minutes of Saturday's Premier League success over Brighton & Hove Albion and now has the chance to press his claims for a start at Chelsea on Sunday.

Mina partners captain Phil Jagielka in the middle of Everton's back-four, while Mason Holgate and Leighton Baines are set to occupy the Blues' full-back spots.

Turkey striker Cenk Tosun will lead the hosts' attacking line in what will be the first instance of an East African club taking on a Premier League outfit on English soil.
