Aiden McGeady made his comeback from injury in Preston North End’s 3-1 away victory at Rotherham United.
The winger had missed a month of football with a hamstring problem but returned to the starting line-up at the New York Stadium.
McGeady got through 89 minutes and played a part in Preston’s second goal, providing the assist for Callum Robinson.
Also in the Championship, Luke Garbutt was an unused substitute in Wigan Athletic’s 3-0 home defeat to Reading, while Conor Grant was not involved in Ipswich Town squad that won 2-1 at Sheffield Wednesday.
