Everton Under-23 forward Boris Mathis will spend the remainder of the season with Northampton Town after completing a loan move to the League One club.
The 20-year-old Frenchman joined the Toffees on a two-year deal from Metz back in July, having featured twice for the Ligue 1 outfit.
Mathis, who graduated through the academy at French giants Lyon, joins a Northampton side managed by former Leeds United and Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
Dutchman Hasselbaink, capped 23 times by his country, took charge at Sixfields back in September, when Northampton were marooned at the foot of the table, without a point from their opening four matches.
