Paul Tait praised his in-form strikers’ relentless thirst for goals after Ellis Simms and Kieran Phillips each bagged a brace in the young Blues’ 4-0 victory at Sunderland on Saturday.
The Toffees maintained their lead at the top of the U18 Premier League (North) table with a dominant display against the Black Cats.
Simms put Everton ahead on 13 minutes, before doubling their advantage on the half-hour mark.
The young Blues kept their foot on the gas and Phillips made it 3-0 before half-time, before the striker rounded off the scoring two minutes after the break.
