Cuco Martina has been released from hospital and will travel back to Merseyside with the rest of the Everton squad on Thursday night.
The defender underwent scans after landing awkwardly during an aerial challenge with Maxwel Cornet late in the first half of the Blues’ Europa League match against Lyon.
Having been assessed, the 28-year-old was given the all clear to join his teammates for their flight back to Liverpool John Lennon airport.
