Having sampled the atmosphere of a Merseyside derby as a fan, Marthe Munstermann can’t wait to play in one on Friday night.
Everton Ladies kick off their campaign against Liverpool at the Select Security Stadium, live on BT Sport kick at 7.45pm.
Dutch international Munstermann says her teammates have told her what to expect for the game and as such, can’t think of a better fixture in which to make her Toffees debut.
“I can’t wait for the Liverpool match,” she said. “It’s the first one of the season and it is a beautiful game.
