Watford boss Marco Silva has insisted he is fully focused on his job at Vicarage Road despite Everton's attempts to secure his services.
The Toffees offered £8.5m for the 40-year-old Portuguese but Watford were quick to shut down their advances.
Sources close to the club say they are unwilling to release Silva at any price but the Merseysiders are still preparing to make an increased offer to the Hornets, as they seek a successor for Ronald Koeman.
However, Silva insists the speculation surrounding his future has not had any effect on his ability to stay focused.
