Despite scoring his first goals in five games, Romelu Lukaku cut a frustrated figure as Everton suffered defeat at Watford.
The Blues striker opened the scoring on 17 minutes, keeping calm to steer a wonderful Gareth Barry pass through the legs off Heurelho Gomes.
But Stefano Okaka’s brace and a Sebastian Prodl goal turned the game in the hosts’ favour and they held on to claim victory despite Lukaku’s late headed second.
“A striker always wants to score so I happy to have done so,” said the Belgian, who dedicated his first goal to injured teammate Yannick Bolasie, holding up one and four fingers on either hand.
