Loan Round-Up: McGeady On Target

" />

Aiden McGeady grabbed the equaliser as Preston North End's Championship play-off hopes took a knock after a 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest at Deepdale.

Britt Assombalonga raced on to Zach Clough's pass to put Forest in front on 22 minutes, but McGeady levelled shortly after half-time when he was teed up by Callum Robinson and fired into the bottom corner.

It was the Irishman's sixth goal of his season-long loan with the Lilywhites, who are now six points off the promotion places, having won only once in their past five matches.
