Kieran Dowell struck his 10th goal of the season as Nottingham Forest dispatched Championship leaders Wolves at Molineux.
The hosts had not been beaten on their own patch since an August meeting with Cardiff City but Dowell’s deflected 25-yard drive and fellow youngster Ben Osborn’s strike late in the first half helped Aitor Karanka earn his first win as Forest boss.
The 2-0 result sees Wolves’ lead at the top cut to nine points following second-place Derby’s draw with Bristol City, while Forest sit in 14th place, 11 points off the play-offs.
Loanees Antonee Robinson and Callum Connolly squared off at the Macron Stadium as Bolton Wanderers hosted Ipswich Town.
