A Liverpool star has admited he would 'get in trouble' if he spoke on Michael Oliver's controversial decision during the Merseyside derby against Everton at Goodison Park.

The 2-2 draw on Wednesday saw four red cards shown after the final whistle following a mass brawl between both teams started by Curtis Jones and Abdoulaye Doucoure, who were both dismissed by the referee.

Arne Slot and his assistant Sipke Hulshoff were also sent off for their part in the confrontation after the Dutchman was seen having an angry confrontation with Oliver.

Following the end of the game, the Liverpool manager approached the game's official, exchanging words and giving an indignant handshake, leading to his red card.
